TRAUMA

My years of experience working with veterans with PTSD infuses my treatment of patients who are carrying the burden of emotional, physical, or sexual trauma.

ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD)

I am highly skilled both at diagnosing ADHD in those who are silently suffering as well as caring for patients with an established diagnosis who need ongoing treatment.

ANXIETY

I am comfortable addressing all types of anxiety disorders including Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

DEPRESSION

I am proficient in treating patients with Major Depression as well as those who are experiencing subclinical depressive states or adjustment related symptoms.

BIPOLAR DISORDER

I am expert in treating patients who suffer from Bipolar I, Bipolar II, or mixed Bipolar states. I can also carefully analyze patients to determine whether or not they have this diagnosis.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE

As Medical Director of the VA Methadone Treatment Program, I am highly skilled in the pharmacologic treatment of addictive or compulsive disorders.

PSYCHOSIS

I am confident treating psychotic disorders whether they are due to Schizophrenia or due to another condition.
